Ana decide viajar, y para lograrlo es ayudada por Gaspar y acompañada por Óliver. En su travesía va descubriendo lo que habita en la naturaleza; el sol, las flores, mariposas y diversos lugares. Vemos a Ana ordeñando una vaca en el campo, volando en un gran pájaro por el desierto, buceando entre burbujas y explorando la selva. Telas, baldes, embudos y cuerdas, apoyan este viaje, cobrando vida mágicamente. Música, sonidos y canciones en vivo – guitarra, clarinete, instrumentos de percusión y efectos – son el texto de la obra. Esta conjunción de elementos hace de Una mañanita partí… un espectáculo íntimo y cautivador.

Teatro de Ocasión nace de la necesidad de generar espectáculos para audiencias específicas y poco habituales, acercándose a segmentos de público que no han sido considerados suficientemente, para quienes combinan teatro, música y cultura popular. De esto da cuenta su primer montaje, enfocado a público adulto mayor Escribiendo la memoria con la tinta de la lengua (Fondart 2003). Desde el año 2004 a la fecha, sus integrantes han participado como músicos y actores en destacados proyectos artísticos, como Tryo Teatro Banda, Teatro Mendicantes y La Mano Ajena. En 2010 gestan el proyecto Viajando a la estimulación de la primera infancia, y se vuelcan al universo de la estimulación infantil. Gracias al financiamiento del Fondo Iberescena 2010-2011 se concreta una coproducción con la experimentada compañía española Teloncillo Teatro, grupo con amplia trayectoria en el trabajo de artes escénicas con niños y niñas dando origen a Una mañanita partí…

Una mañanita partí… tiene una exitosa temporada en Centro Cultural GAM, luego participan en el XVIII Festival de teatro de la UCSC en Concepción y reciben el primer lugar en el XIV Festival de Teatro infantil de La Reina. Con el aporte de Fondart 2012, realizan una itinerancia por once comunas de la Región Metropolitana. Posteriormente realizan una temporada en la comuna de La Reina, para luego partir de gira al sur al Festival Lluvia de Teatro 2012. Durante el mes de julio realizan una temporada en Sidarte (Festival Entrete Vacaciones de  Corpartes), para partir de gira por la Quinta Región y regresar finalmente, en Octubre, al Centro Cultural GAM. Durante el mes de noviembre realizan la temporada inaugural del Teatro de La Aurora.

César Espinoza Araya es actor, músico y director Licenciado en Artes Teatrales de la Universidad ARCIS. A partir de su inquietud por unir la música y el teatro, ingresa a la Compañía Tryo Teatro Banda, junto a quienes lleva a cabo los montajes Cautiverio felis (sic), Pedro de Valdivia, la gesta inconclusa y Jemmy Button. Gira por Europa en cuatro ocasiones (España e Inglaterra), y gana los premios Apes 2010, Círculo de Críticos de Arte 2010 y José Nuez Martí de la Pontificia Universidad Católica 2011.

Funda Teatro de Ocasión con el fin de explorar nuevas audiencias y dirige junto a Teloncillo Teatro (de Valladolid) la obra Una mañanita partí… espectáculo pionero de teatro y música para la primera infancia.

Ana decides to travel, and receives help from Gaspar and a companion in the form of Óliver. During her journey, she discovers what lives in the natural world: the sun, flowers, butterflies, and very different places. We see Ana milking a cow in the countryside, flying over the desert on a giant bird, diving amongst bubbles, and exploring the jungle. Curtains, buckets, funnels, and strings give support to this quest, magically imbued with life. Music, sounds, and live singing – guitar, clarinet, percussion, and sound effects – give texture to the work this meeting of elements makes Una mañanita partí… an intimate and captivating show.

Teatro de Ocasión was born of the need to create shows for specific and unusual audiences, approaching segments of the public that have been sadly overlooked; the company woos them with a combination of theater, music, and popular culture. This can be seen in their first work, which was targeted to appeal to the elderly: Escribiendo la memoria con la tinta de la lengua, (Fondart 2003). Since 2004 the group’s members have participated as musicians and actors in acclaimed artistic projects, such as Tryo Teatro Banda, Teatro Mendicantes and La Mano Ajena. In 2010 they brought out the project Viajando a la estimulación de la primera infancia, working to appeal to the very youngest. Thanks to financing from Fondo Iberescena 2010 – 2011, the group was able to go ahead with a co=production alongside the experienced Spanish company Teloncillo Teatro, a group with an acclaimed track record of work in the performing arts for children – it was this project that gave rise to Una Mañanita Partí…

Una Mañanita Partí… had a successful run at the GAM Cultural Center, and then participated in the 18th UCSC Theater Festival in Concepción and took first place at the 14th La Reina Children’s Theater Festival. With Fondart support continuing in 2012, they took to the road with a tour of eleven districts in Santiago’s Metropolitan Region. The production then settled down for a season in the district of La Reina, before setting off once again, this time for the Festival Lluvia de Teatro 2012. In July they played a run at Sidarte (Festival Entrete Vacaciones de Corpartes), before taking a tour of Chile’s Fifth Region and finally returning to the GAM Cultural Center in October.

César Espinoza Araya is an actor, musician, and director. He studied theater arts at Universidad ARCIS. With a yearning to unite music and theater, he joined the Compañía Tryo Teatro Banda company, to stage Cautiverio felis (sic), Pedro de Valdivia, la gesta inconclusa and Jemmy Button. He has toured Europe four times, working in Spain and England, and has been awarded the Apes Prize in 2010, the Círculo de Críticos de Arte Prize in 2010, and the Pontificia Universidad Católica’s José Nuez Martí Award in 2011. He founded Teatro de Ocasión to explore new audiences, and alongside Teloncillo Teatro (from Valladolid) directed Una Mañanita Partí… a pioneering theater and music show for very young children.
